All photographs on this page are © 2001-2003 courtesy of Jim Bunch, Rich Hunting and Roger Hunting. The dive expeditions during which these artefacts were recovered were underwritten by Seascan Dive Centre of Nags Head, North Carolina, U.S.A. It is planned to exhibit many of the items recovered from U-85 in the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, Hatteras, NC.

Many more photographs - colour and monochrome - are to be found in a book by Jim Bunch, 'A Shadow in the Sea', published in 2003 by Deep Sea Press, Nags Head, North Carolina, U.S.A. ISBN 0-939591-00-6. The book tells the story of U-85 and her crew and includes details of many of the dives carried out upon the wreck during various expeditions. It is sold primarily in dive centres or may be ordered directly from the author.
