David H. Hamer passed away on April 3, 2017, surrounded by his family.
David thoroughly enjoyed sharing his fascination with cryptology with anyone who had an interest in it. His extensive research and writings have contributed to our knowledge of the history of cryptology.
His family and friends will be maintaining his webpage and his list of known surviving Enigma Machines.
If you are touched by the news of his passing, he would love nothing more than for you to raise
a glass filled with a good Irish whiskey in his name.
